We've just rolled out two updates to myBVI that make the app more useful for more people.
1) myBVI now comes in six languages
Body composition tracking should work in whatever language you're most comfortable with. That's why the myBVI app is now available in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese.
Whether you're using the app day to day or sharing it with clients and patients across different regions, the full experience, from onboarding to your results, is now accessible in your language of choice.
No changes needed on your end. Just update the app and your language preference will be picked up automatically.
2) Waist circumference tracking is now free for everyone
Waist circumference is one of the simplest and most useful indicators of health risk, and it's often used alongside other measures to build a fuller picture of body composition.
From today, this is available to every myBVI user at no extra cost.
Alongside your existing Body Volume Index (BVI) score and body composition estimates, you'll now be able to track how your waist circumference changes over time, all from the same two photos you already use to generate your results.
myBVI Update: Why this matters
These two updates share a common theme: making myBVI more accessible. Wider language support means more people can use the app comfortably and confidently.
Free waist circumference tracking means more people can access a broader view of their body composition without hitting a paywall.
Both are small changes on paper, but they reflect our wider aim of turning unreliable, analogue measurements into validated, useful digital data that's available to as many people as possible.
Feel free to update your app today to try both new features for yourself.
